Stefan Feld (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamedesigner/4958/stefan-feld) is one of the most acclaimed modern German game designers (as well as a personal favourite of mine), so I will be celebrating "Felduary" with Stefan Feld titles each week.

Let's start with his most widely loved game, The Castles of Burgundy! I'm going to teach the Team Game version for players who are already familiar with this modern classic. I am not planning a "full teach" of Burgundy, so players in this game should know the game well enough to not need the whole rules explanation.

I believe that there will be at least one other game - maybe two - for new players to Burgundy. Who else is willing to teach? Let's try to get several games going and start Felduary off right!

Some of us actually prefer the original art over the revised edition. (The Special Edition is in a totally different league.)

Also, The Castles of Burgundy was just named as one of the original 25 games in the BoardGameGeek Hall of Fame (https://boardgamegeek.com/geekpreview/72/the-boardgamegeek-hall-of-fame). It's a great syllabus to start if you're wondering which games have stood the test of time!
