There are five easy steps to follow to join the Board Game Bliss bulk order group!

Step 1: Create an account on boardgamebliss.ca
This is to ensure you can collect reward points and track your order history! This is also a way we can ensure people who win draws can get their giftcards / in store credit!

Step 2:  Add any items from the store that you want to purchase to your cart.

Step 3: Make sure you add the HOLD/MERGE Product to your cart! This product can be found here (https://www.boardgamebliss.com/products/hold-order)

  IMPORTANT: This HOLD/MERGE product makes it so that you don't pay shipping and we can merge everyones orders together when it is time to order!

Step 4: Checkout and pay for your order using the following shipping address:

  IMPORTANT: The name MUST be "SHANE HADLAND" and the address must be entered exactly.This is a flexdelivery address that allows all mail to be held safely and securely at a post office so there is no risk of our games getting left at someone's door, at risk to both porch pirates and the weather.

When you proceed to the next step of checkout verify that you have shipping method as the "HOLD/MERGE order or Free Shipping game included"

Step 5: Finish your payment (using your own contact info / billing address). Once you receive your order confirmation, please forward the confirmation email to our team at: shane.m.hadland@gmail.com and mickrissling@gmail.com

After this, Shane and Mick will track all the order numbers and items on order. Once we reach our shipping threshold we will contact BoardGameBliss to trigger the shipping. Pick up of games will be available at the following Chewsday Challenge, or other arrangements can also be made.

FAQ

Can I make preorders?
- Yes! Boardgamebliss has been split shipping preorders and in stock stuff. Once the preorder is released, it will get sent in with the next shipment.

What phone number do I use?
- At this point in time, please use your phone number in the shipping address. If this changes, I will add it to the procedure.

How long does shipping take?
- This is the tough one. My process is to email Boardgamebliss and ask for a list of available items - they send me a report, I approve it, then they begin the packing procedure. This back and forth can take about a week. Once they send an email back with the report, thats technically the cutoff. I have noticed the packing / confirming process to be getting a bit long lately.

I accidently used the ship address as the billing address. Will this be a problem?
-Hasn't been a problem yet, as long as your payment goes through.

If I order something in stock, and its not going to ship for a while... is there a chance someone else will get it / it won't be available anymore?
- No! Thats what is so great about Boardgamebliss. If you get a notification that the game you have been wanting for months is finally in stock, and you purchase it with HOLD/MERGE option, boardgamebliss puts that game aside into our pile and it will sit there. You bought it, you will get it, even if we don't ship it for a month.

Is my item going to ship soon?
It depends. If you need to receive a product quickly, the bulk order isn't ideal for that. We are dependant not only on everyone making orders to get the threshold, but also boardgamebliss takes some time to organize and pack these big orders for us.

Would pre-orders be allowed in this? Or only games that are in stock?

Pre-orders are totally allowed! Just like all other orders, add in the hold/merge product. Once your preorder is released, I'm pretty sure boardgamebliss will send you an email informing you its available and we will get it shipped with the next batch.

Not a problem! We got your in-stock game shipped with this order I do beleive.

Excellent, I'm taking my kids to the Mario movie this evening, but I can stop by Chewsday around 8:15-8:30 to grab my stuff.

I will be triggering shipping by 3pm today! Any orders after that will go towards shipment #3. You guys have been making meeting the minimum very easy so I'm thinking shipment #3 won't be too long after this one.

Shane, Board Game Bliss says they're "preparing the item for shipping" for my pre-order - do you think that means they've gotten it in and are just waiting for you to trigger the order to ship? I don't recall what my order said when I first placed the pre-order.

Order #4 (all games above in the second post) was originally going to be delivered friday, then it was moved to monday, and now its saying either tuesday or wednesday. I'll be out of town as of early Tuesday morning, returning on the weekend.

I'm looking in to see if anyone else can pick up the games from the post office and distribute them, but due to the need to show ID, I don't think its possible. Sorry everyone! I was hoping to get games to everyone sooner but it might have to wait until I return.

Little announcement: Boardgamebliss typically disables the hold/merge option during their big sales like boxing day and black Friday. This means we won't quite be able to take advantage of our group shipping the usual way for tomorrows sale.

However, there's always the option to reach out to someone who might be looking to buy something as well and all creating it on the same order / account to reach the $200 threshold for free shipping.

Another little tip: sometimes I see sale stuff not go back to full price when the sale is done and hold/merge is back and active. I've been able to snag stuff post sale this way in the past as long as you are willing to take the risk.

Updated some FAQ's mostly involving shipping time frame. See the FAQ post near the beginning. Thanks everyone for making this bulk order very successful.

TL;DR: Its been taking upwards of a week from the time that I send the ship email to when it actually hits Canadapost. If you want to know if your order shipped, check your order status. You will have access to tracking info when available.

Update: bulk order was supposed to arrive yesterday via purolater. Says weather delays. when the order comes in I will reach out to people if they want their games for the weekend.

I have also been asked if there will be another order coming in before christmas... Probably not. Feel free to make orders though and if we hit the limit I'll post when I will trigger it.

Sending request for order 31 today. Anything ordered by tonight (monday)should be included.

Was hoping games would be here for delivery today, but looks like later this week.

Bulk orders been coming in like crazy, I can barely keep up. I'm about to request shipment of order #39 end of today. So put them in by 7 if you want them to ship in this next one.

Will ask them to ship this #40 soon, so I don't have such a huge box haha

Answer: No. I can't promise that and I won't promise it, but there are two orders that should be shipping out very soon so there is a chance?
